The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, has spoken about the candidate who should run against the Socialists for the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to the show Noë with Erla Mëhilli, Shehaj stated that he should be a non-political, independent candidate who is not a member of any political party and who is not perceived as a representative of any political force.

"We need a non-political, independent candidate who unites the 32 percent of the DP, the 6 percent of another party, or the 3 percent of the other force that comes after. This is the only way to defeat Edi Rama. The name does not matter now. We need to decide if we agree with this approach - then the name will be found, because there are capable Albanians. We need a perfect and extraordinary candidate, regardless of what the leaders of the opposition parties think. The idea is to find an independent candidate, who represents the opposition", said Shehaj./ CNA
