The chairman of the "Lëvizja Bashkë" party, Arlind Qori, invited to the Now show by Erla Mëhilli, said that including family members on the lists of candidates for MPs is insulting to other members of the party.

Qori said that including family members on the lists is a type of nepotism and sends the message that no one else in the party is trusted except family members.

Qori said he decided to be second on the list to show that the party is not in the service of the mayor.

" Nominating family members on a list is difficult from a symbolic point of view, it is a kind of nepotism. That tomorrow when you have the government in your hands you can say I will make my brother a minister because everyone else steals, I will make my wife a minister because everyone else steals. On the other hand, it is insulting to other party members because it gives the message that here no one is trusted except the brother's sister and so on.

"For the Together Movement, I am ready to put my hand in the fire for all my collaborators. If Redi Muçi is the first on the list, he will be an MP. If it happens otherwise, you have the right to spit in my face. We are a serious party that holds internal elections. I decided two years ago that I would not be the first on the list to show that it is not the party that serves the president, but the president that serves the party," said Qori.

The leader of the Lëvizja Bashke party was also prevented from submitting the lists of candidates for MPs just a few minutes before the deadline. Qori was surprised that this happens either because they don't have people for the lists or they are waiting for a politician from other parties to come and take him on the list.

"The reason for waiting until 11:30 at night is either you don't have people to put on the list, or you're waiting for the football transfer market, so that when a politician is released, you can put him on the list ," said Qori./ CNA
