The mayor of Durrës, Emirjana Sako, has revealed her plan for the city if she wins the next mandate.

Sako has stated that from the meetings with the citizens, he understood that there is a need to intervene in the construction of social housing.

According to her, many young couples and families find it impossible to buy an apartment and turn to the municipality for social housing.

" What the city of Durrës needs, at least from the feedback I get from the meetings I hold with the citizens, is the part of social housing, we will intervene with a concrete project and realization in the mandate that awaits us, there are many families and young couples, families in need do not have the economic conditions to buy a home and who go to the municipality for social housing, it is in the plan of the coming mandate to realize this "- said Sako.

Among other things, Sako also mentioned traffic as one of the issues that worries the citizens.

"Traffic is another issue that worries the citizens, with some projects that we have started but also those that await us in the future, we say that we will also address this problem by making it possible to solve the parking for residents in the areas of residential blocks as well as the construction of a public parking lot, which is a project that has started to be implemented at the entrance of the road parallel to the port road behind the Albanian government ", she added./CNA.al
