"It will weld the market"/ Berisha: Rama is creating a state oil

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was present this afternoon at the meeting held at the blue headquarters called "Rama Oil Exchange - 10 abuses, 1 solution", with all the party departments.

In his speech, Berisha focused on the situation created with the price of oil, influenced by the conflict that has been going on for weeks in the Middle East.

According to Berisha, the solution being given to this situation is catastrophic, accusing the government of not acting according to the law.

The chief democrat took the opportunity to accuse Prime Minister Edi Rama of not acting for the good of Albanian citizens, but only for personal gain, by attempting to enter the oil market through a state-owned company.

"The solution is just as disastrous. This man who used the Information Society Agency as his private garden for so many years and after the scandal broke, will now create private wells for his own oil garden. Now he will put his dirty hands into the import of oil.

And now he says he's going to enter the market, he'll find some Ardi Veli or Ergys Agas, who are his trusted thieves, and how are you going to deal with the 60 percent load on the market?

Tell us that these are very simple things. Where is left, what is left here?

So, he will enter the market to keep the price the same, but to steal as much as possible, to get a big bite for himself and the people he will appoint.

The Albanian state has laws, it has antitrust law, it has consumer protection law.

If, at the current oil price, in addition to the fiscal burden of 60 percent of the price, there are other speculative factors that keep it at that level, then you have the institutions.

Activate institutions to identify and existing laws are very strong.

Fines are major penalties if found in collusive circumstances.

Yes. It is necessary to examine the attitude of the competition authority towards oligopoly.

And the competition authority is the most corrupt authority or among the most corrupt in Albania and in Europe.

Then the government, in addition to intervening, in addition to halving or nearly halving the fiscal burden on a liter of diesel, should undertake a detailed analysis of the market and all factors.

"But what is he doing? He is entering the market to further complicate this situation, to make it even more hopeless," Berisha said./CNA
