In an interview for "Euroactiv", the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about Edi Rama and the way he interfered in the presidential elections of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Berisha emphasized that every day Rama shows his "power" and "arrogance" by interfering in the geopolitical balances in the region, as he has done with Greece and Ankara.

"Rama's intervention shows the geopolitical balances in the region, with neighboring Greece carefully following developments in light of its open issues with Ankara. Erdogan has been in power for 20 years, but Sunday's vote could bring that to an end, as recent polls predict an unprecedented challenge to his rule," the agency wrote . According to "Euroactiv", Rama's comments have sparked the anger of the former Albanian prime minister, Sali Berisha, who gave a statement for the agency. "Turkey is undoubtedly a friend, a partner, but with a doctrine of neo-Ottomanism, which I will not accept," said Berisha.

Berisha also had a call for the Albanian community living in Turkey.
