"We will ease the construction procedures in the village"/ Belind
The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi

The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, met with residents of Petrela, Farka and Baldushka, where he presented in detail the program for the village, with the aim of the local government being closer to the community with services and investments. Kelliçi first promised that the heads of the administrative units will be elected by the citizens themselves.

"You know what is good for you here in the area of ????Petrela and Bërzhita. I have the duty, first of all, to restore the full powers of the heads of the administrative units, due to a total and complete failure of the territorial reform of 2014, which removed the citizen from the services. Today, you went to the door of the Administrative Unit, the former Municipality, you don't solve any problem, you don't finish any work because they are puppets. So I give you my word that after May 14, your leaders will be chosen by you. You have it in your hands, and they will be your people and they will finish your work" - said Kelliçi.

Further, as a request received from the residents, Kelliçi promised to facilitate the procedures for the repair of the apartments, as well as the appointment of a deputy mayor in the municipality of Tirana, dedicated only to the village.

"The first thing I will do will be to facilitate the procedures for repairing your houses, because it is the minimum thing that belongs to the village in Tirana and the residents of the municipalities of Tirana. Minimal, you will only notify the municipality . With Belind Këlliç as the mayor, the villages of Tirana will be represented by a deputy mayor in the municipality of Tirana. That will be dedicated only to jobs, investments and the growth of the economic potential of the village of Tirana. it is unforgivable that the villages of Tirana are in a miserable state today", said Kelliçi.

In Petrelë, Baldushk and Farke, Belind Këlliçi repeated his promise for farmers' subsidies, also emphasizing the construction of 15 markets.

"The subsidy for the farmer will be at the center of my policy to help the village and the farmer of Tirana. What does it mean? Every year there will be 7 million euros in subsidies, 3 million euros in aid for loans for borrowing, and without question we will build 15 green markets with "Made in Tirana" products, which will be organically certified, Kelliçi said.

From Petrela, Belind Kelliçi made another promise for the village, the removal of the construction tax for the first houses, while he committed to increase investments in infrastructure for rural areas after May 14.

"The first promise is that we will unquestionably remove and ease the construction tax for the first houses. For first homes, it is very important. A problem that you have told me since the first day that I came to Bërzhita and which after May 14 I will make a reality. The road infrastructure in the former municipalities will undoubtedly be improved, we will invest in asphalting and will be the main issue of our program after May 14 in full consultation with your leaders who will be chosen by you. We will decentralize services. We will undoubtedly have services in the suburbs," said Kelliçi.

The bus will be free for rural areas as well, the opposition candidate gave this promise to the residents of Petrela, Farka and Baldushka during the meeting he held with them.

"I want to remind you first of all the 5 priorities, starting from the free bus that I promise you here. My husband's word, after May 14 I will do everything and the free bus will be a reality. Bërzhitë, Petrelë, Baldushk, wherever you want in Farka, put your finger on Krrabë, the indisputable Krraba free of charge".

In these areas, Belind Kelliçi also presented the 5 main priorities of his program.

"It is the underpass to "Skënderbej Square". Every time you go to Tirana, you will have 60% cheaper traffic because this helps the traffic. We will reduce taxes for small businesses by 30%, we will remove the temporary school tax, which they pay twice, once as a business and once as a family. We will build nurseries, kindergartens and schools, without question, an issue that does not affect you, because God has blessed you with this wonderful nature, 500 green oases will be a reality for all units of Tirana" - said Këlliçi.

One of the main concerns of residents is municipal police fines. Belind Kelliçi promised that after May 14 this will end, telling the residents that the municipal police will be at their service.

"I understand very well what the goal of the Municipal Police was and is to blacken their lives and get some money under their hands. This practice ends after May 14. I give you my word that the municipal policemen will be at your service, because they will do their duty. They have a duty to be community police and above all all residents will have full facilities to register their property and do whatever they want with their property. It is one's life, it is one's property, it is one's life's savings, and it cannot be a hostage to anyone who tries to take a bribe from it, to take money from it because it puts pressure on it. I guarantee that he will give the word of honor," Këlliçi said.

In Baldushk, one of the concerns raised by the residents was the delay in the reconstruction process. Belind Kelliçi said that this process should be fair and transparent after May 14, when according to him the residents will receive their apartments.

"The ink has come out my friend, the citizens see this, just as they see the misuse and abuse that is happening with the earthquake houses in Baldushk. A major problem for Baldushka. But it's not just happening here, it's also happening in Zall Herr, the same thing is happening in Ndroq, the same thing is happening in all the areas of Tirana that are holding them hostage two days before the elections, three days before the elections, to to catch people, to tighten the noose around their throats, to catch people by their bread and butter, you have a house, you have a roof over your head. I guarantee you that the process of dividing the houses, that it has sent its fraudsters around the villages telling them that Belind Kelliçi is coming, the dividing of the houses will stop, you will not take the houses. I guarantee that it will be the most transparent and open process that Belind Kelliçi will make public in Tirana's municipality," said Kelliçi.

The abuses committed so far in the municipality of Tirana will be revealed and will be brought to the law enforcement bodies. Belind Kelliçi referred to the abuse of Tirana's incinerator, raising a rhetorical question about the owners of this facility who are currently on the run after being wanted by SPAK.

"Nxin understands that the moment of truth and accountability is coming. Nxin, you know very well that I will open the papers in the Municipality of Tirana, I will open the papers for those who violated the law, starting with the incinerator of Tirana. He will go to Tirana's incinerator to show all the citizens whether there is an incinerator or not. Is our waste processed! Does it burn and produce electricity or not! And if this does not happen, the contract will be canceled and all those who have violated the law will be prosecuted. And if that happens, I have a question for you all, why are the owners looking internationally? Have you ever wondered?! Why are they looking internationally?! Did any of you go on an international search if you didn't break the law?!" said Kelliçi.

Even in rural areas, water is a major shortage for residents. Belind Kelliçi said that the UKT tenders are taken by the directors of Erion Veliajt, Mariglen Qato and Arben Maloku, where the latter is suspected of buying votes for the current mayor of Tirana.

"But why do they pay UKT? Because the former director of UKT in the municipality of Tirana, the bandit Mariglen Qato, has received 25 million euros, 29 tenders from UKT and the municipality of Tirana, while he was supposed to provide drinking water for you. Can he do this without Erion Veliaj's permission? How is it possible that Arben Maloku, in Kasalla, in Tapizë, in Dritas, in Zall Herr, who write to me every day, people who are buying votes, builds five floors without permission at the entrance of the "Çam" market? And the Minister of the Interior comes out and Erion Veliaj comes out and they say that we didn't see him! Did they see your chicken coop? Did they see your terrace? Do they see your tiles?" said Kelliçi.

In the end, Belind Kelliçi, there was also a call for the citizens of Tirana, that on May 14, they should go out en masse to vote, to bring change.

"I thank you, but make an effort, there is one week left. Invite friends, relatives, cousins, colleagues, neighbors, anyone you know in Tirana. Let them know that it is a golden chance that on May 14th we can prevent the evil that democrats and socialists have done together for the first time in our capital. They have come together to say that Erion Veliaj is worse than Edi Rama. Since the day of voting, on May 14, in the secret room, when you receive the ballot, it is only you and God. No one can check your vote, not even Belindi can see them. Don't eat the pressure. It's you and God, vote conscientiously for your future, for your children, for your grandchildren, for the future of the capital" - said Kelliçi./ CNA.al
