SP MP Erion Braçe defended the Minister of Agriculture Frida Krifca today during the fierce debates in the Assembly between the opposition and the minister regarding the suspended EU funds in the agriculture sector, following suspicions of corruption and misuse of funds.

During his speech in the Parliament, Braçe said that despite numerous disagreements with the minister, the latter, according to him, has not given a single piece of m2 for rent from public assets.

Among other things, the socialist deputy stated that the corruption during the government of the leftists is minimal compared to the corruption developed during the government of the democrats.

 

 

"The Minister of Agriculture and I do not agree on many things, maybe even on everything, but the Minister of Agriculture has not given a single square meter for rent and this is a fact. Today we are facing the high control of the state.

There is corruption in this country, it is widespread. It exists in the public and private sector, and because it is so, it has a political use that is more and more important. Is corruption greater today than 10 years ago? This is where we part ways.

10 years ago it was easily stolen, even with a certificate. It was stolen with high risk and high risk. Until 10 years ago, everything public was sold, like the entire sector. The oil was customer delivered to each location until processing.” - says Braçe./CNA.al
