The draft law "On the ratification of the accession agreement of the Republic of Albania, represented by Prime Minister Edi Rama, to the Charter of the Peace Board" has caused debates in the Assembly because the majority wants to pass it through an accelerated procedure, while the opposition states that there cannot be an accelerated procedure that can be shorter than a week.

DP leader Sali Berisha has stated that the majority's request is an act that flagrantly violates the articles of the Constitution, which determine the deadline for an expedited procedure.

According to Berisha, the expedited procedure is Rama's attempt to cover up the coup to protect Balluk.

Every Albanian should be aware that the accelerated procedure of this parliament is determined by constitutional articles, which prohibit its development sooner than a week from the initiative.

In this context, the reasons for what happened are numerous, but first and foremost is the coup that Edi Rama is consuming with the Constitutional Court, which today, to its shame, decides to further postpone Lubi Balluku's defense and invalidate the special prosecution's request for her suspension and arrest.
