Berisha: The party of crime is in power, it is stealing from Albanians and

Democratic Party Leader Sali Berisha holds a meeting today with sympathizers and supporters of the Democratic Party in Branch 2 in Tirana.

In his speech, Berisha stated that Albanians are being governed by the party of crime, while accusing the Socialist Party of destroying the nation.

"I meet you with hope and full confidence because in 35 years when we stop and look back, we come here as people of ideals, who sacrificed for the highest ideals, free voting, patriotism, family and Albania. We succeeded at a time when we knew nothing, but we learned determinedly and in four years an epochal change in Albania took place. We have a serious problem. We have not managed to create the great anger of the citizen with corruption. It is not the reaction that it should be. It is our defect and we must accept it. The party of crime came to power. It cannot have any other name. In fact, it was born in crime and has survived the most savage oppression of Albanians. Today, more than ever, it is stealing from Albanians and destroying the nation", said Berisha. /CNA
