The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, says that if he were the Prime Minister of Albania, the negotiations with the EU would have been opened.

Berisha made this statement on the show "Opinion" where he spoke about the progress of Albania's integration over three decades.

Berisha accused the government of seizing all the powers of the country and that this influenced the EU not to open negotiations with our country.

"Po flisni me një ish-kryeministër. Nëse një ish-kryeministër vendos të mos dorëzojë pushtetin, është e vështirë t’ia marrësh pushtetin. Pushteti i merret me zgjedhje.
