Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has requested that Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj not go to the protest that will be held in Tirana, on July 7.
Berisha told Euronews Albania that the invitation to take part in the protest is valid for all Albanians, with the exception of 'Alibasha', referring to Enkelejd Alibeaj and Lulzim Basha.
The former prime minister also gave a coded message to Basha, as he stated that if he comes to the protest, the Democrats will remember things that should not be.
"Yesterday, the DP leadership decided to call on all its deputies, except Alibasha, who is being held hostage by the government. "I do not advise Basha to come to the protest, because they are reminded of things that the Democrats should not remember", stressed the leader of the Democratic Party, among others./BA - CNA.al
