The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a meeting with the women and girls of LDGSH, called on them to run in the 2023 local elections.

Berisha said that he wants to see as many women and girls in office as possible, because according to the leader of the Democratic Party, they are more responsible and very capable in office.  

“Ne duhet të punojmë fort bashkashrisht, që roli i gruas në PD të ridimensionohet me shpejtësi. Nga disa takime kam shprehur keqardhje në rast se i hedh një vështrim audiencave tona ato janë mashkullore dhe janë mashkullore në mënyrë të pamerituar, ata kanë bashkëshortet, motrat, që duhet të jenë bashkë me ta në sallë. Ne si PD shprehim angazhimin. Fitorja kalon nëpërmjet zonës elektorale grua, vajzë.
