The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted regarding the protest of the lawyers, who oppose the new court map.

In a post on social networks, Berisha writes that with this decision, the judicial system of Edi Rama goes back to 1966, in which dictator Hoxha removed the protection of the accused from lawyers and banned this profession.

He further emphasizes that with their strike the lawyers protect the fundamental right of the Albanian citizens for a regular legal process.

Këshilli i Përgjithshëm i Avokatisë së Shqipërisë vendosi shpalljen e grevës kombëtare pa afat të avokatëve të vendit si akt proteste ndaj hartës së re të gjyqësorit.

Me këtë vendim të drejtë, sistemi gjyqësor i Edi Ramës rikthehet në vitin 1966, në të cilin diktatori Hoxha hoqi mbrojtjen e të akuzuarve nga avokatët dhe ndaloi këtë profesion.

Me grevën e tyre avokatët mbrojnë të drejtën themelore të qytetarëve shqiptarë për një proces të rregullt ligjor.

Greva e tyre është shembull frymëzimi për të gjithë profesionistët, mbarë qytetarët shqiptarë për mbrojtjen e të drejtave të tyre themelore ndaj abuzimeve të pushtetit monist të krimit dhe drogës të Edi Ramës dhe pseudoreformës sorosiane të sistemit të drejtësisë.
