Government does not stop / The Palace of Brigades is given on concession for 20

The Albanian government has granted another concession.

As seen in the following decision, the Government is learned to have decided to manage the Historic Ensemble of the Palace of Brigades through a partnership called PMI (Integrated Management Plan).

According to the contract, the partnership will last 20 years.

But, the decision of the government refers to the law 27/2018 "On cultural heritage and Museums" where in point 5 it says: The contract of revitalization is concluded for a period of up to 20 years, with the right to renew only once, if the entity has met correctly all contractual obligations, based on the report of the National Inspectorate of Cultural Heritage ”.

So, according to the law "On cultural heritage and museums" the contract of revitalization is concluded for a period of up to 20 years, has the right to renew for another 20 years.  

This means that the foundation, which has taken the restoration of the Presidential Palace on concession and is kept secret, has the right to renovate for another 20 years, which means for 40 years./ CNA.al
