Democrat MP, Belind Këlliçi, has stated that part of the national protest that will be held on July 7, will be the SMI and President Ilir Meta.

Këlliçi said that both Meta and LSI have confirmed their participation first as citizens and then as politicians.

“Neve na kërkojnë llogari pse u bë në korrik dhe jo në qershor, pse në mesjavë dhe jo në fundjavë, tani po na kërkojnë dhe për LSI e Ilir Metën. Ilir Meta dhe LSI aty janë . E kanë konfirmuar publikisht që do të jenë aty. Edhe unë dal në protestë si qytetar, para se të dalë si deputet. Është një kulturë qytetare të dalësh në protestë dhe është një kulturë që duhet kultivuar te shoqëria jonë, te brezi i ri”, tha Këlliçi.

Ndër të tjera, Këlliçi u shpreh se ka edhe emigrantë që kanë prerë biletat për të ardhur në protestë, ndërsa bëri me dije se do të ketë surpriza dhe se shifrat konkrete do të dalin rreth ditës së martë apo të mërkurë.

It is a first test to see what will be the reaction of the citizens, the support they will give. Depending on the number that will come there, the continuation of the political action will be decided. I am convinced that the number will be large.
