The elected MP of the Democratic Party, Besart Xhaferi, said today that the DP expects one more mandate in Tirana and Elbasan, from the May 11 elections, which he called part of an electoral farce.

Invited to a television studio, Xhaferri stated that the elections should be organized with a technical government.

Xhaferri said that the leader of the Democrat Party, Sali Berisha, has a historic duty to prove the electoral farce of the parliamentary elections.

"Transparency is very important for us and by becoming transparent, violations will be revealed. Only 1% of the electoral farce is in the ballot box. The "Bulgarian train" in the elections has happened. We expect one more mandate in Tirana and Elbasan. The vote was alienated without going to the ballot box, it happened with criminal groups, with the use of public administration. The electoral farce is that the elections should be rejected. Albanians went to vote bought, manipulated. The OSCE said that Albanians did not vote freely. The American embassy greeted the Albanian people and not Rama. The EPP will bring a fact-finding mission for the elections in Albania. The elections must be organized with a technical government. Berisha has a historic duty to prove the electoral farce. The DP vote is clean. The SP is a talented party, to work with illegal means", - said Xhaferri./CNA
