The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, made strong accusations against justice during his speech at the overnight protest of supporters.

Berisha described prosecutors and judges as "monsters of crime", claiming that they attacked the opposition.

He stated that prosecutors and judges are closing the files of exponents of the majority and are punishing those of the opposition at the expense of the government.

"Dear friends, 10 months ago this slanderous seed of Edi Rama and George Soros told the Albanians that Sali Berisha has passed laws and signed decisions to favor his son-in-law and his son-in-law's cousins.

My friends, today, after a 4-year investigation, these monsters have not found a decision, they have not been able to find a nominal law dedicated to a person signed by Sali Berisha, prime minister, majority leader, president, or whatever.

Monsters of crime that trade every night with murderers, with criminals, with thugs. They get a percentage of the traffic profit, they get a percentage of the kill profit. These monsters have rushed against the opposition, pluralism in Albania.

They close every file for themselves, they cover up their own ugly crimes, they cover up the crimes of Edi Rama, the crimes of Erion Veliaj, the crimes of Lubi Balluk, ministers, other governors. They forget that in this way they consume the most serious criminal acts, but their time in the country they came from ended, praise God!
