In a meeting in Fier together with the Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha highlighted the problems encountered during the summer season.

During his statement, Minister Hoxha emphasized that next summer season there will be freer spaces for citizens on the beaches.

Hoxha called that the problems with security on the coastline should end and measures should be taken by the municipalities and observation points on the beaches and the finding of qualified personnel for these tasks.

"Today is my first meeting in the district of Fier as Minister of the Interior. I wish success to ?uko in his work. Throughout this year, we have fulfilled the role that has been assigned, the commitments in the tourist season stand out. However, one of the problems encountered has was safety on the coastline, unfortunately there were fatal cases due to the use of watercraft. This story must end and measures must also be taken by the municipalities and observation points on the beaches and the finding of qualified personnel for these tasks. This situation must be finally resolved for the upcoming season.

Secondly, this year there were also abusive operators who did not meet the standards, but who continued to exercise their activity even though they did not meet these standards. For the next season, we will have new conditions for the licensing of service providers on the beaches, according to the decision only licensed operators, hotels, will have the right to use as businesses, as well as the coastal space, but also the sandy one. There will be more free spaces for citizens. These measures will have positive effects for vacationers as well, who have not only in a few cases expressed complaints about the services offered." /CNA
