The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Taulant Balla, today held a meeting with the leaders of the Association of Albanian Lawyers in Italy, where some of the main legal and administrative challenges faced by compatriots in this country were addressed.

Balla said that we are working to provide solutions to many problems related to recognition of documents and facilitation of consular procedures.

In his speech, Minister Balla emphasized that they will work together to provide solutions to many problems related to recognition of documents, facilitation of consular procedures, etc.

According to Balla, work is also being done on the recognition of e-Albania digital stamp certificates by the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

Another important issue was the possibility of generating pension certificates for Albanians living abroad, through e-Albania, and the need to improve the process of recording marriage dissolution decisions by Albanian civil status offices.

Also, the possibility of expanding powers of attorney for more complex legal actions through consular services, facilitating the registration of double surnames for children born abroad, as well as the protection of unaccompanied Albanian minors in Italy, for which measures were discussed for repatriation.
