The political leader of the Korça district, Niko Peleshi, spoke about the blows SPAK is giving to both camps of Albanian politics.

Invited to a television studio, Peleshi said that it is not about a directed justice, as the new justice institutions are hitting both left and right.

Regarding the high officials of the SP who are facing legal proceedings for serious corruption charges, Peleshi said that the force he joins has chosen not to protect anyone who has a problem with justice.

"We are not good when we don't have a strong opposition. We cannot account for events in the opposition field. There can be no political direction that strikes within itself. There are former colleagues of mine who today have serious processes in SPAK, I hope they are innocent. This is a story of justice, facts. I wish there was as little guilt as possible... The news coming from justice can't be pretty. The good news is that there is no impunity.

The position of the SP is painful but fair. Whoever has problems with justice must face it. We are not in cases where only the opponent is hit. SP has over 100,000 members and we cannot test everyone. There is no moral control over the past and the future. I can't put my hand in the fire as to how he will behave tomorrow", said Peleshi.
