The member of the National Council of the DP, Fjoralba Dizdari, has made another denunciation on the issue of hazardous waste.

Dizdari has raised the alarm that chemical waste endangers people's lives, as he has denounced that the containers were scanned along with other means, with food items.

Through a status on social networks, she raises doubts about the measures taken by the authorities and the implementation of security procedures.

"As we have been predicting for months, the danger from chemical waste is eminent!

The 102 containers filled with dangerous substances were scanned along with other vehicles, trucks containing food items and in an open state such as wheat or fresh products. Everything that is happening is the result of the lack of a plan of measures, for which the Albanian government had enough time to prepare, and to inform the public opinion in advance.

This situation at the Port of Durrës raises questions about the security procedures being followed during the control of dangerous goods being sent to Porto Romano.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, as we announced, a few weeks ago, the ecological bomb in the city of Elbasan exploded in the morning of today.

The waste collection center of the city and not only, near the Elbasan landfill, has been on fire since this morning.

As if the metallurgical chimneys were not enough, today the city is covered by a cloud of smoke of who knows what dangerous substances, threatening the citizens of Elbasan from this polluted air.

Apparently, this government does not have the skills to act differently, and prioritize the citizen.
