His request was dismissed within 24 hours due to Basha's own actions and his inappropriate ties to organized crime.

Lulzim Basha has elected to his National Council Mustafa Martinaj, the father of the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj , the "king" of gambling, who is said to have disappeared since August 2022.
