The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, appeared this Wednesday at the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
It is reported that Meta will give a question from the investigators at 10:00.
He will testify in SPAK regarding the CEZ-DIA file.
For the "CEZ-DIA" file, businessman Kastriot Ismailaj, the owner of the "DIA" company, served 9 years in prison. He was released in September, after being sentenced to 11 years in prison in October 2017 by the Tirana Court.
In 2009, the prosecution caught a wiretap between him and Ilir Meta, where it was assumed that the latter was asking him for money, but the file was dismissed.
