This news was announced by the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, during his speech in the Parliament.

He stated that until now the mayors have been fined for not naming the streets as a whole, while with the approval of the address draft law they will be fined for every unnamed street.

"Any mayor who does not update the addresses of his municipality on time will face sanctions of an administrative nature. The fines are 10-fold. To ensure this doesn't fail like the others before, we've changed the penalty system and put a fine on every unnamed road. It used to be that if you don't do this, you get this fine for all roads, even on 1,000 roads, Xelal (Xelal Mziu) did Donald Trump, Silvio Berlusconi and Julia Roberts, and he didn't do the other 997, and received a fine of 10 million lek, years we are taking it as an example.
