The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, said today in the plenary session that we must do more for the politically persecuted and their families. 

He said that through the draft resolution on the crimes of communism, we must include the recognition and witnessing of the truth, not with political glasses, but with the truth that happened.

The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja said that the SP has fully compensated the former persecuted, that is, those who have served prison terms.

"Both of us have been in power for 30 years, what did we give them, where they were in prison and their families? So what did we give to the politically persecuted? This process should include knowing and witnessing the truth, not with political glasses, but the truth that happened. Fortunately, that part of society is still alive to witness what happened. Today, we have another opportunity, the files, the authority of the files, to know our past no one was punished, dear colleagues. Today, after 32 years, the one who is at the head of the party leads the opposition. 21,900 requests have been for compensation, 13,500 files have been approved for compensation, another 8,500 have remained untreated due to not meeting the criteria, while 3336 of these files meet all the criteria for compensation, but were submitted outside the deadline. With our coming to power, those who were in prison were compensated", said Manja. / CNA
