The head of the DP puts the "Seal", Lulzim Basha, in a press conference, commented on the statement of Bledi Çuçi on the removal from the agenda of the draft law on Criminal Amnesty.

Basha expressed that he hopes that the reason given by Çuçi is not a lie, or part of the living thing bazaar to fish for deputies to vote. 

"We heard a statement from the SP about the reason why the amnesty was removed. I hope it is part of the lies these days and not part of the live thing bazaar to fish MPs for votes. The first step that solves this, is to give up the proposals that were secretly introduced to benefit the corrupt officials. Second, they introduced the PD proposals to include the protesters in the amnesty. It is a DP request, it is not a request for negotiation, it is not a negotiation, it is necessary. There is no no withdrawal, those who have the majority of votes should take it into account, it is our unchanging position", said Basha. 

Regarding this decision, the head of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, Bledi Çuçi, said that they withdrew this draft law, in respect of tradition and that it should be voted by consensus. 

Thus he was justified in relation to today's decision of the majority, which could not secure 84 votes for the passage of this draft law. Çuçi underlined that there will always be 84 votes in the Assembly to vote for Criminal Amnesty./ CNA
