Basha will not go to the Assembly for the Criminal Amnesty vote/ How Manja comments

The head of the PD of "Vula", Lulzim Basha, in a media conference on Wednesday morning, said that he will not vote for Edi Rama for Criminal Amnesty. 

Basha emphasized that he and his deputies will not participate in tomorrow's session in the Assembly and will not vote on the draft law on Criminal Amnesty. 

Regarding this statement by Basha, the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, said after the government meeting that the draft law on Criminal Amnesty has no political agenda. 

"The draft law cannot have a political agenda. The Assembly of Albania will have the last word, not the Government. It is an act of humanity. It is in our honor to vote for it. The convicts are citizens of the Republic of Albania, to whom we must give and the opportunity to return to the family," he said./ CNA
