Rama meeting today with Erdogan/ Some agreements are signed

Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay a visit to Ankara, Turkey today, where he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the statement of the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency, as part of the visit, the first meeting of the Turkey-Albania High Level Cooperation Council will be held in Ankara, under the presidency of Erdogan and Rama, which was established on January 6, 2021.

It is learned that in this meeting all aspects of Turkey-Albania relations will be examined and the steps that can be taken for further deepening of bilateral cooperation will be discussed.

During the meetings with Albania, a NATO ally, they will exchange ideas on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, especially in the Balkans, on the basis of understanding for the preservation of peace and stability.

Within the framework of the meeting, the signing of various legal texts that will make an important contribution to Turkey-Albania relations is planned.

"In the meetings with our NATO ally, Albania, in addition to bilateral relations, there will be an exchange of views on regional and international developments, especially in the Balkans, on the basis of understanding for the preservation of peace and stability. At the meeting of the Council, various legal texts will be signed that will make an important contribution to the contractual basis of Turkey-Albania relations," said the statement of the Directorate of Communication./ CNA
