"I'm encouraged" Basha/ "I don't vote for Rama for the Criminal Amnesty"

Lulzim Basha is "emboldened" and has refused to combine the votes of his deputies with those of the majority for the approval of the Criminal Amnesty.

Basha issued a statement to the media and said that he and his deputies will not participate in the session and therefore will not vote on the draft law on Amnesty.

He stated that the draft law aims at the release of corrupt officials investigated, under investigation, accused or convicted by GJKKO.

"The Democratic Party will not participate in tomorrow's parliamentary session and without question it is our expectation that no one becomes a crutch of this corrupt and criminal act that aims to release corrupt officials investigated, under investigation, accused or convicted by GJKKO . This is the most scandalous attempt in 33 years to remove corrupt officials from criminal responsibility", Basha emphasized, among other things./ CNA
