Alimehmeti: I see signs of unity in DP, there will be developments in the spring

The member of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Ilir Alimehmeti, spoke this Friday about the situation in the Democratic Party.

Alimehmeti said in a television interview that he is currently seeing signs of unity and reflection in the Democratic Party.

According to him, there will be positive developments in the Albanian right in the spring.

"We have a great evil of leaving people. We must not allow the depopulation of the residents. PD must solve the problems within itself. We must make decisions in coordination with what is required. If we continue on this path without listening to the rest, we will continue in this situation we are in. I see merger signals, I see reflection signals. I am of the opinion that there will be positive developments in the spring.

DP must respond to the needs of the people. The two-party rule must be respected in the Assembly, but if it is not respected by the larger party, it is very difficult to ask the smaller party. We requested a special session for the incinerators. But this is not done, just like the Investigative Commissions of the Parliament", stressed Alimehmeti./ CNA
