Deputy Enkelejd Alibeaj "washed his hands like Pilate" by removing responsibility for the division of the Democratic Party into groups.

Alibeaj said in a statement to the media that his group was not the cause of the split, as according to him he did everything to prevent it from happening.

"If we did not participate in the elections in 2019, we have already shown that it was a mistake. The official PD is obliged to participate in the elections with its candidates in every municipality, in every council. We are not the cause of what happened in March, by any means.
