The former leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, has sent a message to Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the latter's statement that the USA owes Albania a debt.

The pair who signed the agreement of May 17 and who are suspected of having made dozens of other unsigned agreements, had kept the relationship between them quiet for several days.

Through a post on social networks, before nine o'clock, Basha writes that the USA has no debt to Albania, on the contrary, Albania will never be able to pay off its debts to the USA.

"Our strategic allies the USA have no debt to us, while we can never forget the debt to them for independent Albania, freed from communism and in NATO, for the liberation and independence of Kosovo and for the rights of Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia and everywhere .
