Mero Baze, as Dr. Zeqo Pilafi

Mero Baze, as Dr. Zeqo Pilafi

Doctor Zeqo Pilafi, the name of a very humorous character by screenwriter and director Arjan Çuliqi, is brought to life as a role under the perfect acting of Sejfulla Myftari, the great Czech from Berat, who has brought a grotesque character, a conman who will do anything to make money, part of a bitter Albanian reality, of a guard who pretends to be a doctor.

"It's All Money's Fault" is a telecomedy that brings us the real Zefo Pilaf of our times, in many areas of life, but also in the media.

Our Zeqo pilaf

Today, the Albanian media has its Zeqo Pilaf, and this profile more than anyone else would suit Mero Baze, known by many names, nicknames, and insults that are commonly used against him, but Mero has no problem with this part.

He is truly a Dr. Zeqo Pilafi of the media of our time, a public deceiver and unstoppable manipulator. He will soon celebrate his 20th anniversary of eating bread while cursing his spiritual "father", Saliu, who taught and educated him to be a true Dr. Zeqo Pilafi.

Zeqo Pilafi also has his patients, one after the other, who we see from the sponsors of each "victim". From the one who gets wet to those who have nightmares and to those who use gunpowder glue to grow their hair. He has them all around him and has created his clients, with fines, slander and insults or public fraud.

Zeqo Pilafi and Mero the Deceiver

CNA has repeatedly published material showing how a property worth between 200,000 and 300,000 euros in the center of Tirana, in the former Bllok, was bought for a piece of bread by Mero Baze, after he attacked the builder, after he attacked Lulzim Basha, then mayor of Tirana, for the permit. He then went and bought it, two or three times cheaper than the market price.

History is like that.

In April 2015, Mero Baze published an article in which he attacked and accused Lulzim Basha, during the time when the latter was mayor, of building a palace in the capital.

The article read: "Basha granted permission for an illegal building in Bllok before leaving."

What happened?

In the apartment built by the company "LID", which Mero Baze attacked in 2015, today Mero Baze and his son, Regon Baze, carry out business activities.

The scheme is clear, Mero Baze attacks the business, the builder and then buys an apartment in the son's name for 1000 euros per square meter. While in that area the value of a property is 2 to 3 times more.

The apartment owned by Mero Baze's son, along with the garage, is valued at between 300 and 400 thousand euros.

In April 2020, after attacking the business, he bought the apartment and garage for "a piece of bread", which ended up being owned by his son, Regon Baze.

From all the information provided, suspicions arise that we are dealing with extortion. A business is attacked, it is anathema, its construction permit is requested to be blocked, and it is precisely in this building that Regon Baze and his father, Mero Baze, go and take shelter.

Isn't this extortion? Isn't this taking someone's money in another form, like Dr. Zeqo Pilafi treated his Xhixhi? Yup Xhixhi, Zeqo Pilafi said, yup Mero to the businessman.
