Primaries as a guarantee for democracy within the Democratic Party and beyond

Due to the great importance of the May 14 elections, I call on Albanian democrats to join in the most democratic election that has ever been made for local government leaders. We have no more time to waste with abandonment and fruitless negotiations. We only have time to unite in the will of the democrats to return to the administration of municipalities, to guarantee citizens the return of missing services.

Çdo demokrat, banues në territorin e vendit tonë, ka vuajtur thellesisht vendimin e gabuar të bojkotit të zgjedhjeve vendore 2019. Ndërkohë që Tirana e pazareve të panumërta negocionte për të vazhduar të qendruarin në opozitë edhe 4 vite të tjera, qytetarët opozitarë kishin zero akses në bashkitë e vendit.

Demokratët janë shqiptarët dinjitoz e të zgjuar, janë njerëz të ndershëm dhe patriot, nuk pranojnë kurrsesi përsëritjen e skenarit të 4 viteve më parë. Dalja me 2 kandidatë e opozitës, i shërben vetëm Edi Ramës, për të marrë përsëri në tavolinë krerët e bashkive.

I am sure that the base of sympathizers and members of the Democratic Party will unite themselves in each branch, without the need for a negotiator, and they will choose the joint winning candidate for the Municipality, without being influenced at all by the phone calls of shopping individuals. without votes and without support, who no longer represent anything in DP.

Through the primaries that will be organized by the united democrats, the Candidate will reflect the will and needs of the base, tomorrow as Chairman of the local government. /CNA.al
