The fire that consumed an entire building in Tirana on Tuesday evening should not be passed over with “taking control of the situation and investigating the causes.” Regardless of who started it, why they started it, and how they started the fire, the criminal is not the one who started it, but the one who built a building that burns like it was doused in gasoline.

This event should serve as a precedent to set a red line in the quality of construction.

I read the reaction of a chemical engineer, Prof. Dr. Zarif Dervishi.

"I have long expressed in the press, verbal communications, in many meetings with municipal leaders, that the covering of buildings with polystyrene caps must be urgently stopped because it poses a danger to the lives of residents and adjacent buildings...! Constructions must meet standards, which currently do not match prices anywhere.

Were we afraid that Iran would attack us? No, there's no need. One match and it sets the whole city on fire, which looks like a cardboard city.
