Cillian Murphy returns to the role / The series "Peaky Blinders" now

Cillian Murphy said in a recent interview that it's a wonderful humbling feeling to watch the movie "Peaky Blinders" now, referring to his role as Tommy Shelby in the famous series.

The Irish actor has returned to the role of the Birmingham gangster in Peaky Blinders, 13 years after his first appearance in the BBC television series.

"There was no promotion of the film at first. It came out and very slowly became a phenomenon and then the fans had it in their hands," he told the BBC.

He went on to say that the time spent by fans following the serial film, and especially his character in the role, was like a return investment for him.

The film "The Immortal Man" was made 4 years after the final episodes of the television series. In the meantime, Murphy won important acting awards at the Oscars, Bafta and Golden Globes for his role in the film "Oppenheimer".

Other actors from the film "Peaky Blinders" have also been nominated for awards for their roles alongside Murphy, such as Barry Keoghan, who plays Shelby's son, actress Rebecca Ferguson, who also starred in the film "Dune", as well as another actor in the film Tim Roth.

The British screenwriter of the film "Peaky Blinders", Steven Knight, has said that the cast of actors could not have been better.

"We found the cream of the crop of actors for the new film. Everyone we approached with a request to collaborate said yes, as the series "Peaky Blinders" had already created an effect.

The cast of actors in the new film are among the best in British cinema and well-known to the public. The film will premiere on Netflix on March 20./ CNA
