Prostitution was practiced in an apartment in Durrës/ Two foreign citizens

The Blues of Durrës have arrested a Venezuelan citizen and another from Colombia in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of practicing prostitution.

Three other people, NT clients, and AA were placed under investigation. The arrest was made after a 3-week investigation.

As material evidence, a sum of money suspected of being obtained from prostitution, 6 cell phones, and identification documents of the arrested citizens were seized.

Police Announcement:

" Durres/Intensive investigations are ongoing and checks are being carried out in various locations to identify and crack down on criminal prostitution activity.

The police operation codenamed "STORM 7" is finalized after 3 weeks of investigations using proactive methods.

An apartment where prostitution was practiced is discovered in neighborhood no. 12, Durrës.    

The 2 foreign nationals who had rented the apartment for this purpose were arrested in flagrante delicto.

A sum of money suspected to have been obtained from prostitution is seized.

As a result of investigations conducted using proactive methods, the Trafficking Investigation Section, for a period of three weeks, under the direction of the Prosecution, organized and finalized, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the Durrës Police Department, the police operation codenamed "STORM 7". 

As a result of the investigations:

-an apartment where prostitution was practiced was discovered in neighborhood no. 12, Durrës;

-Natives NT, 34 years old, resident of Venezuela, and AA, 24 years old, resident of Colombia, were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution" and "Adapting premises for prostitution", who are suspected of having rented the apartment for practicing prostitution.

Also, the proceedings under release for the criminal offense of "Prostitution" were initiated against citizens MA, AA and DT.

As material evidence, a sum of money suspected of being obtained from prostitution, 6 mobile phones and identification documents of the arrested citizens were seized./ CNA
