Fier police have arrested a 57-year-old man previously convicted of murder.

PM was arrested, and during the search, firearms, a pistol, combs, and cartridges were found and seized.

The search was conducted after information was received that a person was traveling armed.

Fier / The police operation codenamed "Pathway" is finalized.

The 57-year-old, previously convicted of murder, was caught red-handed and handcuffed while traveling armed with a pistol.

A double-barreled pistol with combat ammunition was seized.

The Special Operations Force services, in cooperation with the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person and the services of the Fier Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based also on the information provided about a citizen who was moving armed, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Pathway".

During the operation, the Police services caught the citizen PM red-handed, in a bar in the village of Ferme Çlirim, with 1 firearm, a pistol, and 2 magazines with 7 cartridges each, which he was carrying in his handbag.

Following procedural actions, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Fier Police Commissariat arrested citizen PM, 57 years old, resident of the village of Sulaj, Fier, previously convicted of murder.

The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action.
