After an operation codenamed "OROSHI", conducted by the Puka Police Commissariat, with the support of the Shkodra DVP structures, the Anti-Terror Directorate and the RENEA Special Forces, two people who opposed the Police with weapons were arrested.

The operation began at around 09:00, in the village of Orosh, Fushë-Arrëz, when a suspect, seeing the Police services, entered an abandoned apartment, owned by citizen PC, and threatened the Police officers with a weapon. Due to the dangerous nature of the situation, the intervention of specialized police forces was requested.

RENEA Special Forces took control of the perimeter of the apartment and after 12 hours of negotiations with the relatives of the dangerous individuals, the two citizens inside the apartment surrendered without using force.

During the operation, the following were seized:

4 automatic firearms and 1 pistol,

17 defensive hand grenades, live ammunition, detonator caps and fuses,

a flag of the terrorist organization ISIS.

One of the citizens, EU, 35 years old, suffered an injury to his right thigh and was immediately transported to the Shkodra Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life.

The arrested citizens are:

EU, 35 years old, previously convicted of "Inciting hatred and strife",

JC, 34 years old, previously convicted of "Theft" and "Threats".

Police Notification

On 24.11.2025, at around 09:00, the services of the Puka Police Commissariat, during a search of the territory in the village of Orosh, Fushë-Arrëz, found a person who, as soon as he saw the Police services, quickly left by entering an abandoned apartment, property of citizen PC.

The Police Services called him to leave the apartment, but the person did not obey the Police call and threatened the Police officers.

Faced with this situation, based on previously obtained information about the dangerous nature of this person, the Police services surrounded the apartment and requested the intervention of specialized police forces, in order to ensure the safety of the lives of the Police officers.

Renea Special Forces went to the scene, which took control of the outer perimeter of the apartment, which was held by forces from the Puka Police Commissariat and the "Eagle" forces of the Shkodra Police Department.

At the moment when the Renea Special Forces called on the person to leave the apartment, shots were fired from inside the apartment at the Renea Special Forces.

After 12 hours of siege, where Renea Special Forces were constantly called upon to surrender, the inability to leave the siege, and after negotiations with their relatives who played an important role in finalizing the operation without using force and without causing damage, the two people inside the apartment surrendered.

At the time of his surrender, the EU citizen had a penetrating injury to his right thigh, who was immediately transported by ambulance to the Shkodra Regional Hospital and is out of danger.
