Accident on the Lezhë-Milot highway / Car ends up in the canal, sinks in the water

A road accident was recorded today at the Treshi intersection, on the Lezhë-Milot highway, where two vehicles collided with each other, causing material damage and injuring two drivers.

The accident occurred between a Volkswagen Caddy, driven by citizen ZC, and a Mercedes-Benz vehicle driven by citizen NP.

As a result of the collision, the Benz vehicle left the road and ended up in a side canal filled with water. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and are out of danger.

Police services have arrived at the scene and are carrying out procedural actions to clarify the circumstances of the accident. It is initially suspected that the cause may have been failure to comply with traffic rules./ CNA
