The police operation codenamed "Cultivation" continues, to bring to criminal responsibility the perpetrators of a case of cultivation of narcotic plants in the village of Mendrak, in 2021.

The 34-year-old man who was wanted 3 days ago has been arrested.

Following investigations conducted by the Berat Prosecutor's Office, and as a result of checks based on police intelligence, the services of the Kuçovë Police Commissariat located, arrested and handcuffed citizen EM, 34 years old, resident of Tirana.

This citizen, suspected of having, in collaboration with citizens Sh. H. (arrested on 13.05.2025) and B. Ll. (currently wanted), cultivated the narcotic plant Cannabis Sativa in 2021, in the village of Mendrak.

The work to capture citizen B. Ll continues.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Berat, for further action./CNA
