Firearms and ammunition found in Dropull/ Details from police checks in

2 Kalashnikov firearms and combat ammunition were found and seized in the village of Bodrishte, Dropulli.

The firearms will be sent to the Scientific Police Institute for examination.

Police services have received information that in an uninhabited apartment, in the village of Bodrishte, an unidentified citizen had hidden firearms and ammunition. 

Police services have carried out checks in suspicious locations and open territory. 

From the information received in the operational channels, it is suspected that a citizen, who is not a resident of the village of Bodrishte, had hidden firearms in an uninhabited apartment and due to police pressure, had thrown the firearms and combat ammunition on the ground. 

During the search of the territory, in collaboration with cleaning and greening workers, the latter found 2 Kalashnikov firearms and combat ammunition in a trash can.   

The firearms will be sent to the Scientific Police Institute for examination to see whether or not they have been used in previous criminal events.  

Also, a special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to identify and capture the citizen who possessed the firearms and combat ammunition./CNA
