He was selling narcotics in doses/ 42-year-old arrested in Gjirokastra

A citizen who was selling cocaine doses in various areas of the city of Gjirokastra was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs. The arrest came as the finalization of the police operation codenamed "The Remaining", to crack down on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs in doses. 

A quantity of suspected cocaine and the vehicle used by the arrested person for this criminal activity were seized.

The Narcotics Investigation Section of the Gjirokastra Police Department, in continuation of its work to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, has provided information about a case of the sale of cocaine doses in the city. To crack down on this case, in cooperation with the Operational Sector, a police operation codenamed “The Remaining” was organized and finalized, as a result of which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:

VR, 42 years old, resident of the village of Goranxi, Dropull, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

During the operation, on the "Gjirokastër-Kakavijë" road axis, near the village of Goranxi, the Police services located and stopped the vehicle driven by citizen VR. During the physical search, a quantity of suspected cocaine was found on this citizen, which he is suspected of possessing with the intention of selling in doses. 

Investigations revealed that this citizen, after obtaining narcotics, divided them into doses, which he sold in different areas of the city of Gjirokastra.  

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
