The former official, Alda Klosi, requested the change of the security measure.

The former official, who is accused of "money laundering" and "false declaration of assets", wants to be released from the cell.

Her lawyer stated that this request is due to the fact that Klosi had to be in the apartment, as he had to take care of her blind mother and her young son.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the trial for the former official has been postponed, as the judge is engaged in other sessions of granting security measures.

A few weeks ago, Alda Klosi and her nurse, Rozeta Dobi, both arrested, were brought before the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

For the former official, 3 charges of "Money Laundering", "Non-Declaration of Assets" and "False Declaration to the Judicial Police Officer" have been filed. / CNA
