Over 17,000 euros were seized in Rinas

17,550 euros were seized, which a 31-year-old man tried to bring into our country, without declaring it, and was prosecuted.

The Rinas Border Police Services, based on the risk analysis, have intensified entry/exit controls in order to prevent border crimes, as well as to guarantee the safe movement of citizens throughout the weekend.

Following the checks, the Police services found 17,550 euros in the bag of citizen EH, which this citizen tried to bring into our country without declaring it in accordance with the law.

At the end of the procedural actions for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizen EH, 31 years old, resident of Librazhd, for the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border".
