SPAK seized the villas/ Arben Ahmetaj appeals the decision

The former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj, has appealed to the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime the seizure measure that SPAK imposed on two real estates a few days ago.

A villa in Hamallaj and one in Palasa are in the name of Ahmetaj's ex-wife and current cohabitant, which have been seized by SPAK.

In his request to GJKKO, the former minister calls the seizure measure illegal. 

Even in the case of the inspections that BKH carried out in his apartments, Ahmetaj and his partner appealed the findings, but GJKKO rejected the request.

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said that Ahmetaj is being investigated and his property is being traced, since according to him, evidence was found during the inspection of the villa.

Ahmetaj is under investigation by SPAK for criminal offenses: "Corruption", "abuse of duty", "concealment of assets" and "money laundering". /CNA
