The services of the Kapshticë Border Police Station, in cooperation with the specialists of the Section for Narcotics and Illegal Traffic of DVP Korçë and the customs authorities following the work to combat cross-border crimes, successfully completed the coded police operation "Itinerary".

As a result of this operation, the specialists of the Narcotics and Illegal Traffic Section of DVP Korçë made the arrest of citizens in flagrante delicto:

GC, 54 years old, resident of Ghimpajti and DB, 36 years old, resident of Bucharest, Romania. 

Based on the risk analysis and selective controls, at the exit of the Republic of Albania, the Border Police has moved to the second line, for a more detailed control, the "Fiat" camper type vehicle, with the driver, a citizen of GC, and the passenger, a citizen of DB 

During the detailed check, using the anti-drug dog of the Police, 79 packets of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, with a total weight of 118 kilograms, were found and seized as material evidence in the luggage area./ CNA.al
