"The mujahedin tried to burn the servers and computers"/ Rrumbullaku

The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has revealed details of the police action in the MEK camp, in Manez, Durrës.

Rrumbullaku said that the police found several rooms with servers and computers. At these moments, the director of the State Police declared that the resistance of MEK members began.

Excerpt from the statement:

At 8 o'clock in the morning, together with some high-level leaders, we called the 6 leaders of the MEK camp to a meeting. During an hour we clarified the details of the court's decision, the purpose for which the control was motivated. We found their understanding in the first moments, where after the official meeting we were addressed at the entrance of the camp, where we asked to open the gates.

Together with the leaders, we entered the premises of the entire territory. After this moment, the control of the premises began, where for about 2 hours of the control, after we found illegality in relation to the requirements of the court decision regarding the identification of the server rooms and computer equipment, the organized resistance of the camp began MEK.

The only means for the realization of the court's goal have been the individual sprites of the state police officers. From all this confrontation, the police remained victims of their violence, and not the residents.

From our side, only the spray was used that did not bring any consequences to the residents. We have injured 15 police officers. 21 citizens were injured, where 15 of them left the hospital centers and returned to their place of residence.

The actions of the police were totally legal, without crossing any limits. In the totality of actions carried out by the police, 96 computer units, 49 laptops, 3 memory cards and abundant materials that were tried to be destroyed by burning by members of the MEK were seized. The Durrës Prosecutor's Office has launched investigations into the violent opposition to the state police control. The resident who died was in their emergency center./ CNA.al
