The State Police has taken a plan of measures to guarantee order and security before, during and after the international football match between the teams of Albania and Moldova, which will take place tomorrow at 20:45 at the "Air Albania" stadium.

For the smooth running of this activity, as well as to facilitate the circulation of vehicles in the city of Tirana, from 16:00 the next day until the end of the match, vehicle circulation restrictions will be applied on some roads near the stadium .

Roads that will be blocked:

- "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, from the intersection of the Presidency to the stadium;

- "Pope John Paul II" street;

- "Dervish Hima" street, from the US embassy to the stadium;

- "Asim Zeneli" street, from the US embassy to the stadium;

- "Themistokli Gërmenji" street;

- "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of the high school to the stadium;

- "Mustafa Matohiti" street, from "Kosova" school to the stadium;

- "Jul Variboba" street, from the post office to the stadium;

- "Gjergj Filipi" street;

- "Lekë Dukagjini" street, from the former Guard of the Republic to the stadium;

- "Avdyl Frashëri" street, from Libri Universitar intersection to the stadium.

The measures taken by the State Police consist of several plans:

• Escorting and providing football players of the football team of Moldova, from the airport of Rinas to the hotel, to the stadium and back to Rinas;

• Escorting and securing the football players of the Albanian football team at the stadium;

• Carrying out a detailed check on the stadium premises and inside the stadium, for unauthorized persons, prohibited items and substances, before the fans enter;

• The organization of services to guarantee public order before, during and after the end of the football match, not only near the stadium, but also the control of the territory in the whole city of Tirana;

• Provision of emergency service routes;

• Road traffic management in the city of Tirana, before, during and after the football match.

In order to guarantee safety before, during and after the development of this international match, a special importance has been given to cooperation with all actors and factors that have a role in the smooth running of this activity, among which we mention:

• Albanian Football Federation;

• Municipal Police;

• Fire Service;

• Private security companies (stewards and security personnel);

• Hospitals, health centers and first aid centers.

In addition, contacts have been established and cooperation is underway with the security service personnel of the Moldovan football team, in order to increase security standards before, during and after the development of this international match.

In implementation of the plan of measures, State Police employees will exercise detailed control over the fans, before entering the stadium, in order to prevent the introduction of banners with racist content, fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics and other items into the stadium. strong dangerous for the life and health of the participants.

The State Police requires the understanding and cooperation of all citizens, for the implementation of the rules of entry and stay in the stadium, as well as the respect of the restrictive measures for circulation, in order to ensure the smooth running of this activity.
