The ship abandoned in the open sea arrives at the port of Saranda/ Police gives the official information

Today, around 09:00, the fishing vessel "Rozafa 23" and a sailing vessel arrived at the port of Limjon, Saranda.

The sailing vessel, with the inscription "Bavaria 50", was found on 10.06.2023, about 51 miles from the island of Sicily, Italy, by the fishing vessel Rozafa, whose crew was fishing in that sea space.

The captain of the fishing vessel, at the time of their detection, notified the Captaincy of Sicily and the Delta Force of the Italian Police, who carried out a physical check, during which they did not find any illegal items and carried out other verifications relevant and based on the international law of the sea, they gave the sail to the captain of the Rozafa ship.

Currently, the sailing vessel has been seized and is stuck in the port, as it will be verified by the Sarandë Captaincy, in cooperation with the Sarandë Police Station and the Sarandë Border Police.
